Congratulations to Jackie and Tim Wood who were married Saturday, April 18, 2009. Hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Jamaica. Finishing up on your proofs and should have them ready for you shortly. What a great couple!

Now the unpacking

Well, we've been in our new home for just over a week now. The unpacking will likely continue for a few more weeks as we work to get back to normalcy in our new home. So far been mostly unpacking as we need things. I can definitely see a garage sale coming this spring. Never realized how much "stuff" we had until we had to move it all.

In our new home, I'm planning to have a display area where I can meet with clients for my photography services and have many samples hanging on the wall.

My wife and I went to the Central Dakota Humane Society as we had adopted a dog their a couple years ago and my daughter was interested in one of the dogs that was recently rescued from a breeder in South Dakota.

I sure tugs at the heart to see how inhumane some animals are treated in our society. There was a dog their that may loose an eye to infection as a result of the terribly poor conidtions they were rescued from. These dogs didn't do anything to deserve the crappy treatment they have received. In fact, given the chance, they would poor out more love to their owner than we ourselves are probably capable of.

After seeing all these dogs and hearing about their past, it makes me want to do more for the animals in our society who were dealt a bad hand. I plan to do more to support the efforts of the humane society. Think about it and if you can adopt an animal or help with time or donations, please do.

The Move Begins

Today we moved about 8 loads of stuff in our minivan to the garage of our new home.

When you move, you sure get to realize how much you accumulate over the years.

We'll be fully moved on Friday 2-27-09.

All that will be left will be the unpacking which may take years :(

New home inspection...

... was today at the location of the house we're buying.

We're excited to be moving but we aren't looking forward to the actual moving part.

Will be running my photography business out of the new location starting the first of March.
